The mission outreach in Concepcion, Tarlac was initiated by Bro. Alex and Sis. Edna Cabatit because of their burden for the souls of their relatives there. This burden motivated the couple to visit the latter as often as they could to share the gospel of Jesus Christ. On one of their visits in December 2004, they requested Pastor Jed to come along for they invited the whole clan for a Christmas gift-giving. It was a good opportunity to have all of them hear the good news of salvation. It was also an opportune time for Pastor Jed to see the place and the people and to assess the possibility of sending a worker to regularly conduct Bible studies in the area. (Read More)

I am the youngest in the family of five. Both my parents are from the province of Batanes. I grew up in a family of devout Catholics. My father was authoritative, a disciplinarian and very religious. We always participate and oftentimes led the “padasal” and prayer for the dead in the compound where we lived. This influenced me to become religious as well. I regularly attended Sunday mass and in my high school days, I had my Wednesday novena after school at Immaculate Heart. (Read More)
